In the role of a Construction Inspector or Junior Construction Inspector, we will count on you\nto:\n
    \n \t
  • Performs inspection and observations directed in accordance with training and the\nspecified procedures.<\/li>\n \t
  • Perform inspection on projects requiring expertise and knowledge in multiple areas of\nconstruction inspection.<\/li>\n \t
  • Read and interpret plans and construction specifications.<\/li>\n \t
  • Perform tests on materials (as needed) to determine if work is done according to\ncontract specifications.<\/li>\n \t
  • Provides clear documentation of findings and results.<\/li>\n \t
  • Performs basic review of inspections and data to verify accuracy before communication\nand submittal to the Project Manager.<\/li>\n \t
  • Communicates information to Project Manager and other PM.<\/li>\n \t
  • Has experience in multiple areas of inspection and field testing.<\/li>\n \t
  • Trains lower level inspectors.<\/li>\n \t
  • May direct and supervise activities of other construction inspectors on larger projects.<\/li>\n \t
  • May plan, schedule and dispatch other staff to project sites based on technician skill set,\ncertifications, location, project, and priority.<\/li>\n \t
  • May interact with client and other site personnel on behalf of the Project Manager\nwhen directed.<\/li>\n \t
  • May assist Project Manager in development of scope inspection and testing services.<\/li>\n \t
  • Maintains equipment operation and calibration (as needed).<\/li>\n \t
  • Follow safety rules and practices and other safety requirements for all projects.\nPerforms pre-task planning prior to executing work. Report any safety issues or\nconcerns to management.<\/li>\n \t
  • Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n <\/div>\n
